Question by SwimGuy: If hosting a dinner where you’re serving fish, are goldfish in a bowl a good centerpiece?
I’m opening up a business, it has nothing to do with food, it’s a school to teach English as a second language.
I’m inviting some friends who work in human resources and might get me many students coming to my school.
I want to serve their choice of either a fish or salmon fillets with two sides; shrimp and tuna croquettes.
I want to get some round tables, some fish bowls, and some cheap fish that can live like a week in a bowl without any special equipment.
Are live fish swimming on a bowl a good centerpiece for a fish dinner?

I would say NO. It sounds like a good idea and some might like it but then you might offend some people. Even though people aren’t eating the same fish, they might get sentimental and have a ruined meal.
